The Tree
In a wood for all to see
Stands a most delightful tree
long limbs reaching to the sun
leaves glistening as sqirrels run
Bounding up and gliding down
havesting nuts upon the ground
Moss and leafs make comfy beds
for squirrels and babes to lay their heads
Autumn draws and the East wind blows
The leafs fall down, why? nobody knows
then all is quiet in the dead of night
If you saw the tree now
it would give you a fright
Shimmering shadows on glistening leaves
but as the dawn breaks
you will see nothing but trees
