The Ant

Have you ever seen an ant upon the floor
Have you ever seen an ant
and watched him explore
Every crevice upon the bed
And all around each flower head
Up and down those petal lanes
Strives to find voluptuous veins
The intravenous sap of life
Reward attained for daily strife
